MASTERCLASS RUM

In the Rum Masterclass you will deepen your knowledge of the versatile world of rum and make your own bottle of rum. We discuss the origin of rum and the raw materials that are used. You will gain insight into the different rum styles and we will cover the types of rum with extensive insight into the process from raw material to finished product. You can experience every step of the process by smelling and tasting. During the tour you will be given an explanation in the distillery about the operation of the still, the phases in distilling and the ripening process in our oak barrels.
Your knowledge is further enriched with insights about the different rum-parts we use, the difference in alcohol percentages used and the use of sweeteners. After that, you will work with an extensive range of ingredients to make your own unique rum. You can taste your DIY rum yourself and judge each other’s creations. You take your own DIY rum home in a bottle.
