Bottle Distillery offers activities such as guided tours, tastings, and workshops. Reservations are required. You can search for available dates for each activity and make a reservation directly. You can also search for activities scheduled for a specific day. Note that sometimes you can select multiple times on a single day.

To reserve a table for drinks, dinner, or lunch before or after the activity, please make a separate reservation.

GUIDED TOUR

In a guided tour you will learn more about the distillery and our potstill. You get an explanation of the different types of spirits. In the tasting room you get to taste 3 of our spirits of your choice.

TASTING

During the tasting, you’ll be introduced to our various spirits. You get a detailed explanation of the distillery, the process of distilling and the operation of our potstill. You get comprehensive information about the each distillate and you’ll taste the spirit. The tasting consists of several rounds with a selection of our spirits, such as rum, liqueurs, beer brandy, and gin.

WORKSHOP MAKING GIN

The workshop gives you extensive insight into the process from raw material to end product. During the tour you you learn all about our potstill, the phases in the process of distillation and the maturation process in our oak barrels. With smell and taste you experience every step of the process.
By tasting different types of gins you gain insights into the diversity of this drink. After an explanation of tonics and mixers there will be a tasting and you can experience various options of mixers and garnishing.
Then you go create your own unique gin with distillates and extracts. You can taste your own DIY-gin and judge each others creations. In a bottle you take your own DIY-gin home.

MASTERCLASS RUM

In the Rum Masterclass you will deepen your knowledge of the versatile world of rum and make your own bottle of rum. We discuss the origin of rum and the raw materials that are used. You will gain insight into the different rum styles and we will cover the types of rum with extensive insight into the process from raw material to finished product.You can experience every step of the process by smelling and tasting. During the tour you will be given an explanation in the distillery about the operation of the still, the phases in distilling and the ripening process in our oak barrels.
Your knowledge is further enriched with insights about the different rum-parts we use, the difference in alcohol percentages used and the use of sweeteners. After that, you will work with an extensive range of ingredients to make your own unique rum. You can taste your DIY rum yourself and judge each other’s creations. You take your own DIY rum home in a bottle.

ABSINTHE EXPERIENCE

Absinthe is full of mysticism and has a rich history. Get to know this green fairy in the Absinthe Experience. What is the history, what characterizes this drink and what are the most important ingredients. Is Absinthe a medicine or the opposite? During the experience you will taste Absinthe pure and in cocktails. You will receive an explanation of the different rituals for drinking Absinthe. You will perform your favorite ritual with the Absinthe fountain to taste and experience your perfect Absinthe.
